CREATURE DAY
I invite you to a one day workshop where we will experience the CREATURE together as well as learn a part from a choreography I created this year!
Well then is the CREATURE?
One can think of CREATURE as a set of physical rules within which we play, move together. We learn how to let the body lead us, to prioritize what the body wants over what the thoughts want.
A creature session combines structured work of basic exercises together with guided free movement. The practice combines individual work together with partnering work.
The workshop is intended for anyone who likes to move: dancers, yogis, movers... who want to experiment with learning structured sections from choreography. My goal for the meeting is to allow a common space for all of us - people who love movement and want to learn from each other through the shared game in the studio that CREATURE makes possible.
